2. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you join our launch waitlist we collect your email address. When you create an account in the app (at launch), we collect the account information you provide such as your name, email, pilot certificate level, and home base. When you use the app, we collect the flight data you create or upload: flight plans, weight & balance worksheets, aircraft profiles, logbook entries, checklists, and related preferences.
ATC audio stays on your device. Our offline ATC transcription processes audio locally on your device. Raw audio is not uploaded to our servers as part of the transcription feature.
Automatic information. When you visit our website or use our app we automatically collect standard technical information: IP address, browser or device type, operating system, referring page, and timestamps. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the service.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the service, and only to the extent necessary. These include:
- Supabase: database and authentication infrastructure.
- Resend: transactional and product email delivery.
- Stripe: subscription billing at launch.
- Vercel: website hosting and analytics.
We may also disclose information to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Aeronautical Apex, our users, or others. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Your rights and choices
You can request to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@aeronauticalapex.com.
Logbook portability. Pilot logbook data is yours. You may export your full flight history at any time, including after cancellation, in standard formats compatible with FAR 61.51 record-keeping requirements.
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA respectively, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
